From The Mouths of K and S

BABY COUSIN
The other day the girls were talking about the baby in Wendy's tummy. Sophie is pretty insistent that if it's a boy they should name him Charleson. She asked to call Wendy so she could remind her of that. And Kayleigh then added that she would like to ask for a pic of Wendy's tummy to see how big it is. They weren't home and Kayleigh decided to leave a message. At the very end of the message she added "Oh and tell me if it's a boy or girl" (Which I PROMISE you Wendy, I did not put her up to that!!) After she got off, I was telling her that Wendy and Mark don't know what the baby is. Here is how the conversation went:

Kayleigh, "Well, they can just get an xray and find out."

Me, "Yes, it's called an ultrasound. And they have had that, but they asked not to know."

Kayleigh, "WHAT?!? Why??"

Me, "Because they want to be surprised."

Kayleigh, quiet for a second, and then shrugs her shoulder and flippantly says, "Oh..well I am just going to call their doctor and find out."

Definitely her mother's child!!

TALENTS
We were driving in the car and Kayleigh was talking about something that happened a long time ago....like 4 years ago....and I asked her how she remembered that. Her response: "I just have a really big mind."

Sophie chims in with, "Oh, Brainey is big too." (in case you didn't figure it out, Brainey is what she calls her brain. A lot of times when I ask her why she did something, or how she knows something, it's because Brainey told her. They are good friends according to Sophie.)

Kayleigh then says, "We all have talents...mine is that I remember a lot of things."

"Sophie's is that she can do really good animal sounds."

"And Mommy's is that she has two really sweet girls."

Thank you, Kayleigh!!
