A new baby

Here a few of the comments we have heard since the girls found out they are going to have a new baby brother or sister:

Kayleigh-"It better be a baby brother"
"Quiet, Mommy. I am trying to hear the baby." (with her
head pressed against my stomach)
"How did God know to put the baby in your tummy? How did he know that you and Daddy wanted it to be in there?"
She has been very sweet, kissing and hugging my stomach all the time.

Sophie- "I think it is Baby Charles in there"
"You are going to go to the doctor and he is going to dig the
baby out."
"Your tummy is going to get bigger and bigger and bigger!!"
"I think we should give the baby to Wendy." I, of course asked why and she said, "It is Charles in there and she wants him."
She is not quite as interested in the fact that I am pregnant as Kayleigh is, but she said she was happy (as long as she is still my baby, too).

It should be fun to see what else their little minds think of!! I will keep you posted!

Hawaiian Luau

We went to a luau last week and had lots of fun. There were dancers, face painting and the girls' favorite, canoeing!

We created this blog so that everyone can keep up with our family. The girls are growing up so fast and we don't want anyone to miss anything!!
